Our awnings are known for being able to withstand hurricanes and tropical storms where many others have failed. We craft our awnings using the best materials, design and engineering practices. We focus on efficient truss design as well as reinforcing weak points that generally fail during storms. We do not upcharge or cut corners when it comes critical anchors, connections, welds, and fasteners.

- We use thick-walled hot dipped galvanized steel (schedule 40) or schedule 40 aluminum, never thin-walled pipe like gator shield or conduit
- We do not use zinc plated fasteners, always stainless steel and galvanized anchors
- Base plates and connectors are always hot dipped galvanized
- All frame corners are mitered and fully welded together, completely sealing the pipe interior from the corrosive effects of moisture and salt air
- All fabricated metal frames are properly primed and painted in color of the customer's choice
- Our anchor plates, tracks, and tabs are custom fabricated and treated to meet our proprietary design, which far exceeds the durability and strength of off-the-shelf available accessories

Walker Canvas Awning has been providing home owners, contractors, and businesses throughout South Florida with custom awnings and canopies for over thirty years. All of our products are fabricated at our 22,000 square foot facility located at 5190 NW 10th Terrace in Fort Lauderdale. We carry commercial liability insurance suitable for all types of projects. We are a FL licensed contractor and have and our custom designs are created by a FL licensed Architect. All frames are built to exceed code minimums and we provide engineering calculations for permits.

We provide our warranties on top of the manufacturers' so we always steer clients to the highest quality materials - materials that we've seen hold-up through countless storms since 1978.
One-year warranty on materials and labor. Five-year warranty on heat sealed seams. Five-year pro-rated warranty on fabric including labor and installation.
